HOME COMING

Star Sensation has returned home. Her blood work for CAE, CL, Johnes and Brucellosis have all come back negative and she is now able to be officially welcomed home and reunited with the herd.
We lost Sensation’s dam, Rock Sensation and her unborn kids this spring of 06’ during a tragic kidding complication. It was a great loss for us. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to acquire her daughter, Star Sensation back.

The whole event was a blessing. With the help of my dear friends, it was made possible. Donna, who sadly, was unable to make one our D & D road trips, lent me the use of her truck to make the trip in the first place.

Then Ruthann, and her family’s hospitality, providing some wonderful meals and a place to lay my head for the night.
Ruthann and I even were able to have a little fun time in Vegas together up in the Stratosphere while waiting for the transporter who was delayed on account of bad weather.

It was an enjoyable road trip to pick up Sensation. The time away was good, having quiet time for reflection as I drove. Good weather and beautiful scenery along the way as seen in a few photos I pulled over to shoot.
